From Utah.A purple, lavender, white stone sometimes with patches of mauve, yellowish-brown and black is found in beryllium ore (Bertrandite) . This stone is known as opalite, ice cream opal, opalized fluorite and opal fluorite. This stone is 1 3/8" x 1".It comes ready to wear on a waxed linen cord with slip knots tied on the ends for easy adjustment of length. My clay setting is quite durable and I do my best to not intrude into the beauty on the stone or crystal that I make wearable. Pat
